Visiting Hettie’s Tearoom

The cakes in the window, the gorgeous china crockery, our brightly coloured décor, glorious quirky art by Daughter of the Stag, and the smell of delicious Scottish shortbread fresh from the oven… these are just some of the things our customers tell us they love about walking into Hettie’s.

We want you to feel like you’re visiting your old, eccentric Auntie’s, with mismatched vintage china, hand baked cakes and a warm welcome that makes you feel at home.

And, of course, there’s the tea. Tea is our passion, and we’ve 32 flavours of hand-blended loose leaf tea for you to try. Don’t worry if the thought of that much choice makes you feel a little indecisive. We’re always happy to talk you through the options and help you choose a great cuppa that you’ll love.

And if coffee’s more your thing then we’ve got you covered too. Our coffee is freshly ground in our fabulous Italian machine, we have our own coffee blend –“Hettie’s Number One” – and there’s always a trained Barista on standby to make sure you get a great cup of java. We also serve hot chocolate and a range of cold drinks to keep everyone happy.

A Vision of Happiness

Maybe you’re on your travels and you need a rest and a refuel, maybe you’ve got wind of our extra-special Afternoon Tea and you’re thinking about popping in to give it a try, or maybe you’re one of our regulars, stopping by for lunch or a brew and a slice of cake?

We welcome everyone, and our vision is to make Hettie’s the happiest tearoom on the planet. We want to send you out into the world a little fuller and a lot happier than when you arrived in our tearoom.

And if you’re reading this from the other side of the globe from Pitlochry, and you’re wondering how you can get the taste of Hettie’s in your life, then you’re in luck lads and lasses, as we ship our tea all over the world.
